They should really just rename the subject of...
The word “art” encompasses so much more than just things to look at, it encompasses meaning and deep thought. There are also images out there that don’t have deeper meanings; they aren’t “art” at all, they’re just pictures.

THE AFFECT OF THE INTERNET ON IMAGES.
If we want to see something, we can type a keyword in Google and get a million images of it. Before the internet, people would have to look things up in books, magazines, art galleries, etc.
Now that the internet has made images so readily accessible, what kind of effect does this have on the value of an image? Do they mean less now that we have them right at our fingertips?

A video I made called “Shogun’s Velvet Steel: An Experiment in Imagery, Theme, and Composition”.
It’s made from clips from the 1934 John Wayne film “Blue Steel”, “Shogun’s Ninja” with Sonny Chiba from 1980, and the 1976 blaxploitation film “Velvet Smooth”.
